That weekend I wrote in my journal that if Phil Graybill asked me, I would marry him. It was one of the most magnificent hikes we’ve ever done, and we arrived at the top amidst blowing clouds and fierce winds and laughter, lamenting the fact that we hadn’t worn warmer coats.
